Homeschooling journey with MJ

Another spring, another Homeschooling journey. This time with an absolutely lovely American kid MJ & partly with the cutest red toy poodle. Yes, the benefit of homeschooling, you can bring your pets and learn with them! We met 3 times a week for 2h over 2 months, a short but fun journey :)

MJ was out of school for a little bit due to his parents moving to Vietnam and we met right after he got his lovely pet dog.

Pebbles were the best companion for MJ in Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling and Arts & Crafts!

Oh, just before Pebbles first visit we met neighbour's cat on the rooftop! Studying outdoors is fun, exploring other rooftops and watching the lake gives ideas for writing & drawing.

Our first (apartment safe) science experiment: a tornado in a bottle, sorry didn't happen to film it, but you can get an idea of it from this little kid on youtube:

Shake! Shake! Shake!

Another experiment day: baking soda + vinegar = volcano

Some days we studied at the lotus community centre, plenty of books for crafts can be found there! And as you can see here, MJ is making something.... a hand puppet!

One of our last 'schooling' sessions, unicorns, monkeys and crazy helmets in our favourite room at the lotus community centre.
Thank you for such a wonderful journey and letting me guide you :)
